IMHO: I can really recommend it if you want to be on the beta-edge. It
makes life much, much easier getting the latest version. Before I
spent alot of time either applying patches or downloading the
tar-ball. Now the latest version is just two commands away, "cvs
update" and "make". That's all there is to it.
