nnimap used to be a mail backend, now it's a mail-and-news backend.
This means that you can put a Newsgroups header in your message and
then hit C-u C-c C-c to post the message to the given IMAP folder.
This is useful for shared folders (bulletin folders?).

If you set gnus-post-method to `current', you can do without C-u
before C-c C-c.
