What are the exact semantics of the Gnus 'r' mark (hit d on an article
in the summary buffer)? Is there a reason nnimap should not map that mark
to \Deleted? Or how about the 'K' (killed) mark?

However, Gnus does have a concept of articles that exist on the
back-end server but the user has chosen not to see (because she has
already read them, the article has been killed or yanked because of
low score, etc)
