experiences with caching

I've used Article Caching for some days, but I'm now turning it off --
it didn't speed up anything for me. Article fetching just wasn't the
slow part of nnimap.

If you have a very slow IMAP server (my server is behind a 256kbps
connection, so it's pretty slow already) or a faster file system (AFS
doesn't really mix well with nnml, which the gnus-cache uses) you
might gain more by this than I did.

O well, let's concentrate on speeding up other things instead. :-)
