Yup, from the known bug list:

 * Appending (ie `Gcc' or `B c', `B m' etc) doesn't work (yet) in the
   0.8x series.

The imap library has to handle some magic for it too work, which I
haven't gotten around to do.

0.39 and 0.83 should handle this.
