Downloaded 0.36 and immediately get the following error:

Symbol's function definition is void: string-as-multibyte


I am using the following software versions:

Pterodactyl Gnus v0.34
nnimap 0.35
InfoDock 4.0.4 (sparc-sun-solaris2.4) of Tue Sep 15 1998 on macaroon
XEmacs 21.0 (sparc-sun-solaris2.4) of Tue Sep 15 1998 on macaroon

N.B.  Infodock is built on top of XEmacs.
