Yes, it does.  I am using nnimap with Exchange Server with alot of success.  I
do _not_ use secondary-select-methods for the nnimap server (although I do for
my nnml server).  Instead, I use the Server Buffer to add the IMAP server and
browse the server to subscribe to the subset of mailboxes I want to access.
The rest of the mail is accessed via a POP-based nnml backend.
