nnimap and Netscape Messaging Server 3.5 ?

Hi,
 I just grabbed the code and tried talking to our Netscape Messaging
 Server (v.3.52) but to no avail.

I open the server, and enter my username and password, then get

Bad Password for mail1.monash.edu.au, Try again.
Couldn't open mail1.monash.edu.au

the *imap-log* buffer shows

* OK Netscape IMAP4rev1 Service 3.52 on teddy.cc.monash.edu.au at Tue, 7 Jul 1998 09:30:56 +1000 (EST)
* CAPABILITY IMAP4 IMAP4rev1 SCAN QUOTA LITERAL+ AUTH=LOGIN XSENDER X-NETSCAPE
D1 OK CAPABILITY completed
D2 LOGIN ajc <not-telling>
D2 OK LOGIN completed

*nnimap-debug* shows

Any ideas gratefully accepted :)
