nnimap-0.98 -- new articles are marked as read automatically

Hi,

my config: NT Emacs 20.3.7.1, pgnus 0.83, nnimap 0.98, MS Exchange 5.5

I have nnmail-split-methods configured to filter incoming mails to
different groups. It seems that nnimap 0.98 moves the new mails to
their destinations, but when I enter the respective groups all new
mails there are marked as read. Therefore I never see the new mails.

Something is obviously wrong with the move operation.
Does anybody experience something similar?

I've switched back to nnimap 0.97.
